July's Definition Challenge

You may have noticed that the Fairy Essence challenge has been split into two parts...Definition and Motto. The first two weeks of the month, I will host the Definition challenge, the second two weeks Amy(Bucket of Butterflies) will host the Motto challenge.

This month our word is FREEDOM. Merriam Webster defines freedom this way:

1: the quality or state of being free: as a: the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action b: liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of another : independence c: the quality or state of being exempt or released usually from something onerous d: ease, facility e: the quality of being frank, open, or outspoken f: improper familiarity g: boldness of conception or execution h: unrestricted use 2 a: a political right b: franchise, privilege
synonyms freedom, liberty, license mean the power or condition of acting without compulsion.

Freedom should be an inalienable right and never taken for granted... so this month we are celebrating what it means to be free.

The most awesomely awesome Becca has created some beautiful word art for this challenge, and she was kind enough to make an alternate version for anyone who would prefer to just do a general summer layout. Does she rock or what? You can use either, or a mixture of both..or just do your own thing.

For completing one of the bi-monthly challenges you will be rewarded 20 points, or 40 points if you do both challenges from both of your hosts.

Bonus Points: Any time you use any ESS products you are eligible for 5 bonus points. In order to receive the bonus points you must list in your post the name of the kit and the name of the designer.

Just what is Fairy Essence and how does this challenge work?
Once a month, you will be given a word and its definition. We would then like you to take that word and/or its definition and scrap it in some form on to your next layout. You can use the wordart(s) that are provided for easier scrapping, or you can challenge yourself by doing this challenge with other means.

There will be a freebie wordart(s) posted here in the forum, but at the end of the challenge the link will be removed.

**This challenge runs from July 1-July 14th**

Please do not double-dip and use this challenge for another challenge here at Enchanted Studio Scraps for it will not count for the points. Naughty, Naughty!

When you are done scrapping this challenge, please post it in our Fairy Essence Gallery as well as link back here so you are able to get your rewarded points for playing along in this bi-weekly challenge!
